Nicely done. Makes me hate myself more for not having done the same when the time was right. Nice shots in any case.

Neither is this the dawn from the east, nor is a dragon flying above, nor are the gables of this hall aflame. Nay, mortal enemies approach in ready armour. Ravens are calling, wolves are howling, spear clashes and shield answers

    Year 260 B.C-240 B.C

    Important Events:

Venetia 249 B.C The Road to Patavium

After the death of Flavius, who died of old age. The Senate was depressed upon hearing this event. Just when Flavius was about to engage Patavium--he suddenly died of heart failure in his camp some 60KM from Patavium just outside the Republic border. This sudden turn of events brought disarray to the northern front. When all was almost lost. The Senate finally sent a new man called as Publius the Wrathful. He crushed several Gallic forces who penetrated deep inside the Roman territories until by 252 B.C the Northern front has finally stabilized. Having done this Publius gathered his remaining force with some reinforcements from Rome and by Winter 249 B.C he marched the road to Patavium--aware that Gauls will ferociously defend the path to their homeland to the death.
