    Default Game developing.

Me and a friend have been talking recently about our ideal perfect game, this has made me think about game developing and I would really like to give it a try. I know a lot of people just have great ideas and don't go any further, hell i might be one of those people. But we were thinking about an MMORPG, A mixture of Mount and blade combat, skyrim exploration, Minecraft/Age of empires building, and CIV5 style research and technology.

I know all of this sounds extremely hard to accomplish, and I highly doubt it would be done, but I'd like to think it is possible.

Basically my question is, how would one go about making a game, i know its a very vague question with a lot of different answers. I don't really have the option of taking a course about programming or game making as i already have a job as a mechanic in training. This would be in my spare time i have which is basically evenings and weekends.

I know this is a huge project probably beyond my comprehension but if anyone does have any tips or help to give it would be appreciated

Look into MMO engines. (For instance, Hero) Start learning how to use and implement them. Vague answer, but yes, vague question too.

Haha thanks man, will do. I know it's vague, but I have no experiance or any idea about programming/coding etc at all. Like i know pong is a basic game but i don't even know how to do that XD.
