How to get MTW and VI to run on a newer rig?

Hi Guys,

Has anyone out there got MTW and/or VI to run on a newer system?

I have Windows 7 64-bit and an Nvidia GeForce GTS 450 video card.

Do I have a hope in hell of getting these old games to run?

for Win7 contact Axalon - he favours this win-version to all others (?except win2000?), at least for his REDUX-MOD.

Myself stopped trying on XP....still going on win98 and an age old rig ;-))

Have you tried running it in compatibility mode? I have not installed MTW on my new computers so I'm not sure myself. I know REDUX will work for sure, but I don't know about the original game.

As already stated, Redux (RXB1003) is as I understand it the best solution for W7 (64bit), usually it works very well on that OS.
