Default Create crash dump on Win7

I'm trying to examine crash dumps created by RTW on Windows 7, however, I'm facing two issues.

I can't seem to be able to make the system create them.
Or alternatively, I can't find them.

I've searched rather thoroughly on Google, but nothing seems to have worked so far.
Anyone knows how to do that?

    Thanks in advance.

RTW being early XP, VS2003, are you sure it even has the capapbility to make a crash dump?

Since it's an OS thing, I'd say it works with any application, no?

Then, why does the Warscape engine do it by default and not RTW/M2TW? I would think different versions of Visual Studio rather than Windows as Warscpae does it on XP, Vista, Win7, and will in Win 8.

RTW is VS2003. ETW is VS2008.

It's only a guess on my part. Maybe someone that programs in Visual Studio can shed more light.

Hum, I'm not talking about application generated logs, which need to be programmed into the game as far as I know; but windows generated crash logs, which used to be created by the OS under XP each time an application crashed.
From what I read, it is disabled by default under 7, but nothing I have done seems to have re-enabled it.
