"Problem starting up Steam"

Trying to solve that problem but I couldn't find any help from the tech help subforum (large area to find). I just installed it and it seems to work...I can launch the launcher and then I select play as Rome and use BI engine. I've put the launch options ( -mod:play_Rome -show_err -nm , and so on). When I then press "Play RS 2" pops up the message "Problem starting up Steam". I think I've installed this mod to the right section (followed the instructions).

I've the latest version of RTW Gold. I'm using Windows 7 but tried to use compatibility settings. What should I tell more?

Have you Steam on when you're trying it?
Do you have a file called SteamLaunchBI.bat in the main RTW folder (in Steam)
