Office of Ichabod Duxbury

The office of Ichabod Duxbury, interim Professor of Herbology, is not quite what a student would expect. Past Herbology professors' spaces were often extensions of the greenhouses they worked in - plants hanging in every corner and otherwise milling about. Professor Duxbury's office sports only a single plant, a rather listless flower growing in a nondescript pot on his desk.

His shelves sport an eclectic mixture of books, which are usually strewn about the tables, thrown open to seemingly random pages. A variety of trinkets - rumored to be trophies from his cases as a Ministry Hit Wizard - are the only items that are neatly arranged. His pet sparrowhawk, a diminutive little bird named John, can frequently be found resting on a perch in the office, when he's not astride Ichabod's shoulder. Much to the professor's frustration, John frequently shreds the rack of blandly-colored scarves he keeps in his office when he doesn't pay his feathered friend enough attention.
