PROBLEM !!!

hello everybody earlier this day I decided to unpack my medieval 2 files to make some minor modifications every thing went fine till I started a mod and tried to play a custombattle
It loaded till the end and when my units appeared on my screen there was a crash then i tried do play a battle on the vannilla game and the same thing happened
I tought it was probably beacause I unpacked my files
so I reinstalled the whole game but it didn't install kingdoms
and now I reinsatlled my game again and it still did't install kingdoms help please

When you unpacked, did you delete the two geography files listted in the readme?
