Fall of the Samurai pre-order clans out today

Hi guys,

As you may have seen us mention (in the game itself, no less!), we're releasing the Fall of the Samurai pre-order clans for general purchase today - including the Sendai clan, previously only available by completing Total War Battles: Shogun on iOS.

Forward-thinking in both war and politics, the Nabeshima of Saga have embraced western technological influence like no other clan, and excel with artillery weapons.

• Gunnery (+5 to the accuracy of all artillery pieces)
• Engineering (-15% reduction to the recruitment and upkeep costs of ships)
• Industry (+5 growth from industrial buildings)
• Rangaku (Trade with the Western Powers has been estabilished)

EDIT : 3.5 euros per clan is a little bit expensive though, considering there is no new unit in any of these clans...

Sure, 14 Euros (4*3,49) for all 4 clans, LOL! Make it 5 Euros for all 4 and I might consider it.

Btw, you have to search for "Fall of the Samurai clans" in Steam, Craigs link only points to FOTS.

Wait, you want me to pay £2.99 for each of the faction packs, and you don't have them as a group for me to easily buy all of them? That's a bit much....

Are the clans not available in the united states? I cant find it on steam.

Well, some people were gagging for them, so they will no doubt have no problem paying near £12 for the lot, right, CA? Ka-CHING!

yeah insane. i already got tsu faction for the steam version, but im not gonna pay €12 for the other 3... lets hope steam summer sale has more sympathy with us than CA

...$4.49USD each for Aus? I didn't think anyone would ask money for false to true entries and an effect bundle.

When I saw it pop up I thought it was £2.99 for all of them. £2.99 for each of them? Really? Naw. You can keep them until a steam sale.

Oh gosh. Just compare it to Ikko-Ikki Clan Pack where we had very different nation from others and some new units. I rly fought it will be a 4-pack, not 4 euros for single clan with different stats. Ridiculous. Seriously. But, yeah, it's new dlc and there are people which always complain, who cares about them.

Yeah, I have zero regrets paying five bucks for the Ikko-Ikki because they really were very different from any other clan, with unique units, skill trees, game mechanics, everything. But these ones, not so much. Looks like I'm waiting for a sale before spreading Hope and Change across Japan with an iron fist.

Hehehehe, well well well! I havnt been to these parts in a longtime, since start of year infact, when i shelved S2TW. Last time i was here, i was involved in a bit of a debate regarding these "Pre order Exclusives" and i forewarned then, along with some others, that this would happen, that a trend would be set and would only keep going one way.

Shame to be proved right!

How sad is it that FOTS sells for £10, and CA are asking for £9 for a few faction unlocks!
