Game isnt Full Screen

When i start playing the game its on my desktop and isnt full screen, as if it was my internet browser. Its really annoying, since i cant click anything on the bottom cause of my tool bar and REALLY annoying that half the screen is the game and the other half my desktop.

Anyone have any solutions for this?

Have you tried adding the resolution to the medieval2.preference file?

Find your Medieval 2: Total War installation, then find medieval2.preference.cfg in the main directory.

Then ctrl+F "resolution" to find campaign_resolution and battle resolution, and edit there. Save, run the game.

I've had exaxtly the same problem, any help would be appreciated, I've tried changing the resolution etc... but nothing seems to work.

Hey guys so Ive tried it both ways and it refuses to let me save to file. I have done this before with previous versions and I do not remember this problem any ideas?
