where are the praetorians

i want to play with lae praetorians ins custom battles AS ROME, not roman rebels. is it possible? i checked the export_units to see if there was a no_custom in praetorians, but there wasnt, any ideas?

try to add a lot of available money (let's say 100000 denari) for a custom battle, then click "let the computer choose an army for you" in the roman army roster selection screen..since you have a lot of money computer should generate the best possible&experienced army you can have for that money..then, as they are one of the best roman units, they should show up in that generated army..if not the first time, keep clicking until you see one of their unit/s in the army roster, shouldn't take longer than several clicks..when they show, you can customize them and the rest of the army units with experience, weapons, armor, delete some of the units you don't want or make several of late praetorian units by clicking on their unit card..that's the simplest way I do it without much trouble..

good idea. but i want to play with regular prae. cohorts and a first praetorian cohort, and thats is almost imposible to get

yes the first cohort is I think impossible without messing with the files..but I play like this, I let the cpu generate the army, remove all other units except the late praetorians and then customize them and add the rest of the army units at my pleasure..but too bad they aren't already included, altough, there are few other units from other factions which also don't appear on the roster unit selection screen..in any case I use this simple but effective method..

is any way to modify some files to get the late praet on the unit rooster without having to search for it?
also, is it possible to save your army and not the battle?

Use mediafire or rapidshare to upload and then post the link. How did you manage to get 1st praetorians in custom?

ejeje i dont know, just custom army botton thousands of times until i got both, regular and first praetorians, maybe tomorrow ill upload them

The multiplayer option in the launcher (which ca be used to play single player battles) have Praetorian Legions for Rome.
