Uhmm To my understanding it is rather free. if it makes sense and is balanced its cool. I mean you can get Income + 5% for one point, why not discounts with the same percentage? Or even + % men as a good leader trait, now I'm just making new things up. But I think it is very free as long as it is plausible.

Do you have ages to go with those chars? This is an issue I brought up with narf and the mods. That people are not including ages a lot of the time with their chars. So we cannot differentiate between whose of age to use a maxed out skill.

Did you know Cordbury stark was 19 and receiving +4 to rolls in the joust? Explain the sense in that to me harald. The organization is a problem. And me n narf are trying to remedy this by getting chars and their ages down. Because currently I do believe we're running by a 1 point max per decade rule. A 10-19 should get +1 not +4.

There are several examples of this such as teens and 20s having +3 to duel rolls as well. This doesn't fly.

All we're asking for is player cooperation. I've updated all the skills in the Character Skills thread. But I need ages to go with them. Everyone needs to include ages. Its essential.

There's the inconsistencies like Bonez has.

Isildur is 16, his max skills should be +1. He is +3 Field Battles and +2 Archery.
Robert Hill is 15, he is +2 Duelist, should be +1.
William is +3 Duelist, +3 Assassination, but hes only 26.

Those chars should be equivalent to a max of what their age is.

Edit: Though we are in the works for changing this as per a proposal thread, currently this rule stands.


This is why I point this out:

Summary: A 16 year old with +2 Joust, +2 Tourney Knight (same thing should not have been combined first off), and +3 Duels. It should be. +1 Maximum for all 3 skillsets. In the Jousting Tourney, Cordbury Stark received a combined +4 to rolls (+2 for Joust, +2 Tourney). That is why we need to update ages/skills because of improper skillset setups. Sure we'd all love to have a super hero char in our houses like this, but within our game rules, this is breaching that rule stated above by Bjorn.
