Well I got more campaign stuff done. Everything hoch asked me is done, however I think I'm going to wait another update till we add russia and a whole new revamped screen for the battle and campaign.

Nope, but we are very close to finishing the units. We only have about ten left to do so it won't be long before it comes out.

I will be done by thursday unless something comes up since i only have 7 units to make left for this version. This mean ill have made 73 units for this mod +30 for remaining named regiments + 10-20ish for each new factuon we add after this one means ill make 163 units! 4x what CA made(for fots) though i didnt make models, textures, animations, or weapon mechanics so I did the easy part.
Does anyone know how different i have to make DLC or shogun 2 units before i can include variants of them? Im think of making a handmortar and firerocket unit, add some punch to traditional armies.
Edit: Does anyone know when grenade luanchers and shotguns were first used in combat?
Also U.S carbine cavalry cant be made as said in first post, apparently the game CTD when a carbine armed cavalry cant shoot on horse back.
Also black knight do you think tekidanto samurai should be added?![]()

I think since this mod is already so historically inaccurate...

I don't think you should aviod adding hand mortars and fire rockets since you would have to buy other stuff that isn't available in fots, but there is a loop hole.
If you set the mortar and rocket unit to be recruitable for the fots clans, you can just mod that, and that way we arn't giving people playable content since they will still have to buy dlc to unlock it.
Perfectly legal.
And maybe, if people really want it, we can release tanks, as we might get permission from TGW team to use their models and textures.
That right folks, it may be possible to add tanks to fots so stay tuned.![]()

Sweet the grenade discharger(tekidanto) samurai will be in the update after this one along with handmorter infantry and firerocketeers and shotgun infantry(special version for US).
Inregardes to the legal part its good they only have to be slightly different or id be breaking the law with the mortars in steampunk/samurai thing.

Yea, hoch, it would be cool if you post some pictures for people to see the progress. Also helps people see what our mod add when they go to download things.

Ok ill just take a couple (5 per roster) taking 67 only takes 6 minutes and maybe 30 to put on them here. That would cut into crusader king 2 time!(Note to self dont buy new game well trying to make the highest number of units ever on warscape). Just in case some of you are wondering Ive been working on the units general from 11:30am-12:30pm and then 1:00-3:00pm weekdays, Since i wake up at 11:00 and it takes 2hours to fully wake up (summer only) I can make 4 units well this setup, or 16 not as well. The advantages of not having a job, and summer break.

Other things to note:
-Economy
Ive reworked the economic buildings a bit, each getting there initial wealth lowerd by 100 or 33 and then there town growth increased by 1 or 3 to better repersent these buildings would have on the economy.
Railroads and ports(excluding harbours) have all been give +4 town growth since these buildings GREATLY add to economic growth of a region.
Military ports have been given +6 town growth to show that building warships does give a great economic benifit, I know quite alot of about this(I live in halifax major naval base) and early this year the shipyards here got a 25 billion dollar contract to build warships, now that spread over 30 years but, it still drastically effects regional economy and it would be the same back then.
-Military
Military buildings no longer give XP bonus since that makes little sense, because how is bob more experianced then joe just because he was trained in a better training sight? Yet Military buildings give a bonus at there last two levels, not huge but still worth it.
Citidals and star forts now Slightly increase morale of troops recruited there, and slightly increase town growth since people are more likely to stay somewhere there safe.
The last level of the police station chain increase morale slighly due to the propaganda that would blanket the region.

-All Spear cavalry bonus vs cavalry is greatly reduced and may just be romved at some point, too compensate they have a much higher charge value (yari ki 15 charge vanilla 40 in this) even with higher charge value they still die in prolonged melee against decent troops
-Spear infantry bonus vs cavalry reduced to 10 for levy spearmen and kyoto police and 5 for yari kachi all melee stats slighly buffed to compensate
-All gun armed infantry bonus vs cavalry reduced by 2, be careful if you dont kill them with your guns the cavalry will kill you in melee prussian garde du korps style.
-No-Dachi Kachi are amazing they have 20 melee attack, 30 charge, 1 defence 4 armor 4 bonus vs cavalry!
-all towers shoot slightly more per volley making the tower upgrades more usefull
-Sword cavalry can and general will kill spear cavalry in prolonged melee, yet suffer alot when receiving there charge
-French Cuirassier are the best cavalry right now (Prussian Garde du Korp will be better)
-If you havent gotten this already im repeating it now cavalry are not push over they were in vanilla, unless you use them improperly lancers in melee anyone?
