"Please select an item from the list"

Recently i downloaded the mod, and it looks amazing. Only problem is, I try to start a campaign as the Romans using BI.exe, but when I say start the campaign, it comes up with a message of "Please select an item from the list"

Is there anything I can do? Or just try it on the normal RTW game or reinstall the whole mod

And: Did you do the following:

XYZ Campaign
Campaign with BI or ALX
Select the "Start XYZ Campaign at the bottom"
Click on the arrow?

What do you mean by what version? version of RS2 or of RTW? Just 2.0 for RS2 and whatever the latest is for BI (1.6 I think)

And yes, I did exactly those things when trying to start the campaign

If you want my advice: Install 2.5

Installing it probably solves your problem, and you get a whole lot of new features. It may be a beta, but it is very stable, you have nothing to worry about.

Can you help? roma surrectum imperial campaign
I get the same as complete noob. I get to the screen with pick from the list. No list just roman campaign, and it goes no further. upon switching off I get an error message.
Script error play_rome/data/world/maps/campaign/imperial_campaign/descry_strat.txt,at line12, column 1.
Having no computer skill or technical knowledge is there a fix?
I have updated RTW to 1.5 but have not updated Alex or BI could this be the problem?

I have all updates of the game and RS2 installed but i get the same error i installed 2.5 to see if it would fix the problem but it didn't only the launcher changed a bit but in the game when i select the campaign and then click on the right arrow arrow it still says "Please select an item from the list".Please help!

You should have two options when in the Menu, one for RTW, and one for BI/ALEX.
You need to choose the correct one.

This error can also appear if your RTW version is not up to date (1.5).
