Re: [OPEN RP] Outlaws in the South
The Goldcloaks escort the two into the Keep where Maegor was standing, looking over a detailed map of Westeros. His eyes noticed Lord Dayne and his nephew.
Ah! I heard you two were waiting to see me. Forgive me for making you wait.

Robert is standing nearby the king, Motionless. Lancel Lannister has also made a rare visit to the Capital to discuss some matters with his brother, Harald.

Re: [OPEN RP] Outlaws in the South
Lord Henryk and Ser Travers enter and approach the table where the King is studying
It's quite alright, Your Grace, I understand you are a busy man. Henryk clears his throat
I lament to say I missed your coronation by a few weeks, Your Grace. I have been quite busy in the South. Trade and small matters have been quite hectic of late. I brought however a few crates of Hot Dornish wine as a present, sire. Henryk hesitates slightly before speaking
I have accompanied Prince Doran in his royal retinue, but there is another reason I have come. I have some troubling news unfortunately, from the south. It is regarding outlaws crossing the borders of The Reach and Dorne. Perhaps if you have a few moments we can discuss it.
Lord Henryk awaits a reply

Re: [OPEN RP] Outlaws in the South
Of course, please have a seat. Show me on the map where they are. Is this by your request to see me...or is it from the Prince himself?
Maegor waves to some servants who bring chairs and wine for his guests as he takes a seat now with Henryk and Travers. He was intrigued to hear about this situation.

Re: [OPEN RP] Outlaws in the South
Lord Henryk takes a seat
Ser Travers removes the sheath containing the mysterious starforged Greatsword Dawn, of pure milkglass white metal, and leans it against the table as he seats himself
It is from me, Your Grace. Says Henryk
Lord Henryk points out on the map the location of the attacks. Between Starfall and Blackmont, roughly 100 miles up the Torentine river and from as far as Uplands in the reach to Skyreach in Dorne.
These outlaws have pillaged homes, and murdered my people. I am their Lord. They look to me for justice. But I am within constraints on how far I can react to apprehend these criminals. The outlaws know of a border treaty Dorne signed with the Reach many moons ago that prohibits any armed crossing from one side to the other. Tyrell justice has been laxed of late, and my suspicions arouse me. But what I do know is that they need to be stopped, and Ser Travers here, is the Marshal of Western Dorne. He is capable of tracking down these outlaws and putting an end to these tirades.
The last thing I want is a border war with the Tyrells, Your Grace. However, Ser Travers and his men are unable to pursue the outlaws into The Reach without a royal proclamation declaring our crossing just. There has not been a border war for many years, since before Aerys Targaryen sat the Iron Throne, but history repeats itself. I have tasked my nephew, Ser Travers, to see to the outlaws apprehension. But our mobility is limited past the Torentine river, where The Reach is an easy escape for the outlaws who have no borders as we do. I have proposed several points in the proclamation that will put the Tyrells at ease however, as we must not have another war over a common enemy, or so we believe these outlaws to be. If you will hear my ideas for this proclamation, I hope it can meet with your approval before we return to Dorne. Henryk hopes the King will hear him out

Re: [OPEN RP] Outlaws in the South
Can't think of a response, will do so after work though.
Maegor looks at the map and ponders some. Though he rarely such a permission, in this situation, he could not let the outlaws pillage any homes. The King looks at Lord Henryk.
I shall allow this with a royal proclamation. It shall be drafted and given tomorrow...and I may dispense some of my own forces to ensure this is carried out.
OOC: Really out of it, so I will make an official proclamation later or tomorrow.

Re: [OPEN RP] Outlaws in the South
The next morning, Ser Godwen goes to see Lord Henryk, escorted by members of the Goldcloaks. In his hands was a wrapped and sealed parchment. It stated clearly that this decree was of royal consent and that Dornish forces would be allowed to operate along the borders of the Dorne and the Reach to ensure the destruction of the outlaws. Once the deeds were done, the royal proclamation would expire. Forces would be offered if needed from the Crownlands, Reach and Stormlands through separate negotiations.

Lord Henryk meets with Ser Godwen, and accepts the proclamation
Thank you, Ser.
Henryk turns to Ser Travers, hands him the parchment and nods
Ser Travers turns and leaves, followed by two House Dayne guards
