    Default pirates!!!

    anyone else ever had a fleet of pirate ships spawn in the sea of galiliee? im pretty sure its impossible to kill them




    the year is 260 BC and i am playing as the Romans in Bouis's old Roma mod. Carthage scares me...

    Well, if there no port there they cant be there. Thats an interesting graphical bug. Kinda like the family member stuck in a city and you cant click on him to get him out.

    You may want to trim the size of that lake in the various map files located in the \Data\world\maps\base directory. A long time ago, I once had a hole in the shape of a cross where the river Jordan and lake Galilee should've been. Probably because I deleted the map_heights.hgt file tbh, but I've since tweaked it so that the hole no longer appears. I'm sure more holes appear when map_heights.hgt is removed, but this was so long ago I can't be sure.

    Random Glitch strikes again. I once got a Quinqurime as a unit in one of my armies...on Lusted's TE. Completely random and has never happened agin.

    Apparently those pirates used to spawn in the Red Sea as well (south of the modern-day Suez Canal), although I've never seen many in the Capsian Sea, basically because I haven't played a campaign for ages.
