I'm having the worst time trying to get rid of my mods that were on Empire so I unistalled DMUC and I guess when I uninstalled it, it didn't change the script I was running on back to vanilla. (I also don't use mod manager.) So when I copy and pasted this,
mod "WW1_main.pack";
mod "WW1_models.pack";
mod "WW1_effects.pack";
mod "WW1_eefects2.pack";

I could still see the previous DMUC scripts. If you can tell I'm really bad with computers and I honestly don't know what to do. So do I need a new script with the vanilla stuff still inside? Sorry for being such a noob.

just delete all the entries, then copypaste only the "WW1" entries. now it should work.
BTW: you can get modmanager by googling it

you can also try to delete the "profile.last_used_mods.txt" completely. but, for any eventuality, make a safety backup.

So I deleted all the DMUC entries, should there be vanilla entries if there is I don't see any. But I do have your WWI entries. But if I launch the game I still have the DMUC custom campaign on along with all of its units and stuff.

I also can't seem to find "profile.last_used_mods.txt" So basically I have some ghetto DMUC mod on right now.

very strange. as i dont know DMUC i would say....delete user.empire_script.txt and profile.last_used_mods.txt
then tick the ww1 mod files using modmanager, then it should work. buut, buuuut dont forget to untick "show all pack types" in modmanager.

I can't seem to find the WW1 files, I've deleted the script and the last used mod txts but it still doesn't appear. I've also unticked "show all pack types"
Maybe I place the 3 pre_beta files in the wrong place? I put them into the data folder.

No (but I'm not sure), the vanilla-files don't need a script.
