when I download&install the fourth part (ww1 text) the game won't start..those 3 packs (boot, text and logo) don't appear in mod manager pack list, and nothing happens by manually editing the user script and adding those lines in the script..the game starts fine without those three packs..

ok I figured what is the problem after I removed the vanilla "boot.pack" file and added the ww1 boot, text and logo packs in the data folder the game worked..everything seems great..most of the units have names and I've noticed that unit rosters aren't same in the early/late era didn't try the battles yet but I've noticed that german uniforms are maybe too "greenish" instead of "grayish"..can't wait to play and write my impressions..thanks Punitor

yep the 3 files are movie.pack files, you dont gotta activate them. just place em in data and check if there are no other text files of mods.

the greenish uniforms you saw are not german they´re austrian. the austrians began from 1916 on (due to an advise of germany) to replace the "hechtgrau" (pike-grey) by "feldgrün" (field-green) for better camouflage. the austrians didnt want the german "feldgrau" (field-gray), so they took feldgrün, whats essentially greenish feldgrau they somehow wanted to be different from the germans

on the first page of the "download latest version here" you have 4 files to download (first there were only 3 because punitor forgot to add the fourth part which is the smallest and contains 3 other files that you put into your data folder)..that fourth file will add faction and unit names, mod logos and effects which were not included before..

place it in your data folder and activate it by using ltchambers awesome modmanager(google it!)
or activate the mod by copypasting this into your user.empire_script.txt file
path: type in your start menu: %appdata% hit enter, then go to: the creative assembly/empire: total war/scripts/user.empire_script.txt
and copypaste this:

yeh im having trouble getting the mod to launch. i downloaded the latest version of the packs, i uninstalled Darthmod Empire, and i ended up re installing ETW all together. then i finally get to put the pack files in the data folder and when i run the mod manager and hit the launch button nothing happens. i then tried the regular ETW launcher again nothing happens.. ive gotten earlier versions of this mod to work in the past i have no idea why they wont work now.

The new version of the mod is absolutetly great! ^_^
I just have a strange bug when having the WW1_boot and the WW1_logo files in data, the game crashes before I can see the legal LoL :\
