I was toying with the idea of downloading 2.5...but I noticed Paedric and DVK were saying this and that about fixes or small bugs.
Should I be waiting a little longer for those fixes?
Keep in mind the whole /not save game compatible

I have been waiting for that update since I took a lot of casualties against elephants. A campaign with those tanks is not fun.
Don't get me wrong I also await the other fixes e.g. the barbarian forts pathfinding. I shall wait as I don't want to start a new campaign then tomorrow it comes out.
Why did they change the elephants anyway? They felt perfect before, as in I took a lot of caualties from them, and now they are a replica of a tank from ww2. I never saw anyone here calling them weak or underpowered.

Yeah well, DVK or Paedric please!
In my last thread DvK said 'We're close, but there are a few little issues we're working on.'
Download 2.5beta if you wanta to be a "beta tester". Right now iīm uninstalling 2.5 to play 2.1. (Donīt expect a developer telling you "next monday there will be a fix").
It's not going to save compatible, that I know, because each time you mess with traits or ancillary, it breaks it.
As for when, I don't know, it's up to dvk.
Currently, most of the work goes to make sure each trait are working correctly, plus some EDU change; so there's at least a few weeks of testing needed.

Alright, I'm blitzing this Roman campaign to the end.
BTW, if you play on very hard battle....do your AI reinforcing armies have their units buffed? like the opposing units?
