The King, Maegor Baratheon, comes to make his own visit for a short time. However, as a good friend of Harald Lannister, he would not miss this moment on any occasion. He enters the area with Ser Godwen as well as members of the Kingsguard, Ser Rosby, Harold, Jon and his nephew, Ullen. A servant brought a gift from the King as well.

Both Lannister and Hightower are given places of high honor, to Jon's right and left.

The King is placed on a stage even higher than Jon Arryn's seat. Jon Arryn approaches the King. "My King. Thank you for coming."

Harrold sits down at a bench, being Jon's bastard he doesn't want to be close to him.

Maegor smiles and greets Lord Arryn.

Lord Arryn, it is good to you see. I would not miss this for anything else. It is good to see two of my allies marrying together. I hope for good fortunes between Isildur and Senna.

He gestures to his servant who approaches with a gift for Senna. Maegor reveals it to Jon to be a beautiful gown as well as a statue of a gold Falcon in flight.

Gifts for your daughter...a Myrish silk gown and statue to represent your house's prowess. I hope your daughter bares many fine sons and daughters, the next generation for the Arryns and Lannisters.

Your grace. It is good to see you. you are well I trust?
Maegor turns his attention now to the groom and Harald. He smiles at them both.

As I told Lord Arryn, I would not miss this moment for anything else, Isildur Lannister. I hope for a happy life between you and young Senna Arryn.

He gestures to another servant who approaches with a gift. A statue of a golden Lion in a proud upright position.

I had the best craftsmen and jewel makers create this symbol of the future to come. You shall have proud sons and daughters, perfect examples of the Arryns and the Lannisters, Isildur.

    Maegor then gazes at Harald.

I have been well, Lord Lannister. How have you been?

    Isildur smiles and bows.
This gift is most generous your grace, I thank you for both your gift and your compliments.

    Harald thinks for a second.
I have been well your grace, being master of coin has kept me busy in Kings Landing. But It's nothing that I can't handle your grace.
    OOC: I meant I can't handle, damnit

Maegor pats Isildur on the shoulder.

No need to thank me. This is your happy day as well as Senna's. You both deserve it.

    Maegor then looks at Harald.

I knew I made the right decision to make you my Master of Coin. You are up to the task and skilled in such a field.

None at all, Lord Arryn. I thank you for the offer though. Give my best wishes to Senna on this proud day of hers.

Ullen Bronzebeard looks around. The journey had been long, but the Eyrie was certainly a beautiful place. Not as beautiful as the Bronzegate of course, because even its rust was better then anything those Northerners could pop out, but Bronzebeard wasn't about to tell them that.

Isildur smiles at the king then walks off towards the front, whereas Harald bowed his head towards the king.
Thank you your grace. I aim to please. Surely you must be getting married soon your grace?

Maegor touched Harald's shoulder and brought him away from other ears.

I already have a couple offers. I plan to speak with the High Septon upon the matter when I return perhaps. It has been hard to decide upon who to choose...that is why I am seeking...religious aid from outside the courts.

Ser Baelor approaches Isildur Lannister as he finally comes to the Eyrie after an arduous climb. He carries with him a beautiful black bow, adorned with colourful feathers.

"Isildur, the man of the day, I don't believe we have had the pleasure of meeting." He gives Isildur a wide smile, and extends his hand. "Ser Baelor Hightower, my father Leyton is Lord of Oldtown."

Isildur grinned and shook the extended hand.
A pleasure to meet you Ser Baelor. Your house is famed across all of westeros, it is an honour to meet one from a family and city so prestigious.

Bah, I don't see you a vulture. Targaryens are vultures. Lannisters are Lions, they just prey upon the vultures if they get too close.

    Maegor laughs.

"Likewise, I have known few Lannisters in my time, but they have always seemed hnonourable men to me. Well, I believe it is customary for those attending the wedding to give the couple a gift, but I must confess this is more of a gift specifically for you. My father bid me give it to you." He reaches for the bow slung to his back, snd holds it out in front of him for Isildur to see, complete with quiver. The bow is a beautiful ebony black - not painted, the wood itself must have been black. It is remarkably strong, but flexible, not brittle, perfect material for a bow. The quiver is an identical colour, seemingly made of the bark of whatever strange tree the wood came from. Brightly coloured feathers decorate the bow, placed so as not to affect the archer's concentration or accuracy. Though decorative, it is clearly an impressive weapon of war.

"Many traders come through Oldtown, from far places. One day, in the docks, while tending to my own ship, I saw a great trading boat come in, out of Tall Trees Town in the Summer Islands. The people there celebrate prowess in archery above all other fields, except for lovemaking. The ship's captain was a slender, ebony skinned woman, like all from that land, but her walk and the way she commanded her sailors spoke of elegance and power. I saw, from my ship, the bow slung across her back - this bow - and I knew it was a magnificent weapon indeed. I asked her if it was for sale, and she laughed at me. Even when I told her I was a Hightower, the man in charge of the harbour, she shooed me away. When I returned to the Hightower that night, I spoke to my father about it."

Baelor scratched his head, then continued. "The highest room in the Hightower, except for the one which contains the beacon itself, is where Lord Leyton, my father, spends his days. The room is circular, and the walls all around are thick glass. He spends much of his time watching the goings on in the port. When I mentioned the days events to him over supper, he cut me short. "I saw it all" he said. "You needn't ask, I can tell from the look in your eyes that you want that lady's bow. Well, you can't afford it, but it just so happens that I can. You aren't an archer - I will buy you a new suit of armour in a few years. I want that bow for something else. You will buy it tomorrow, whatever the price, and take it to the Eyrie. I have just been invited to a wedding between a young Lannister and an Arryn - you will attend, and take them the bow as their wedding gift.""

"Now, much as I wanted the bow myself, I accepted the words of my father. I did as he asked, spending half a day convincing the woman to part with the thing, and the other half settling on a price. And now, here I stand, giving it you. I hope you treat it well, the Seven know it took a great effort on my part. May it stay within your family for generations to come." He smiles, and it is clear he harbours nor hard feelings about giving the bow to another, such is the warmth and brilliance in his face.

OOC: It gives +2 to archery. And also is way better than everybody else's wedding gifts, I actually had to pay for it after all
