How do I slow down movement on strategic map

Hello all,

I have recently reinstalled/begun playing M2TW again, however... units on the map move EXTREMELY FAST (nearly instantaneously)!!! But if I hit the space bar and return to normal speed they move too slow. Without downgrading my system - how can I return to a more 'normal' movement speed; because this is just unplayable as it is (too impatient to play at slow (normal) speed - but instant speed is also undesirable). ETW, S2TW, and NTW all play fine but M2TW is whew...

Maybe "Backspace"? not sure, though.

If you press backspace quickly enough during a move it will cancel the remainder of that move , but not the remaining movement points.

^I don't think he's concerned with action points. That's easy enough to edit anyway.

But yeah, I don't think it's possible to modify the movement speed of your guys on the campaign map. There's only 2 speeds - very slow and very fast.
