My steam account was stolen!

Hi

I am a ETW modder and 5 days ago i can´t play the game. I sent the information required by Steam (a photo with the serial key and other key wrote by ballpoint pen- but the Steam´s help desk don´t send me any answer.

I am really angry

´cause my ETW is legal, i bought my game and i am not a pirate

If somebody have any contact with Steam, please tell them my situation

Your best bet is to keep calling.... Constantly... That way, they'll make you a priority in their cystomer service cases.

You will have to wait a good amount of time for them to answer, and their answer might not answer anything at all. I sent a mail to them asking for a refund in MW2, which did not worked as advertised (MP did not worked, and you had to download 2 12GB files [It said only 1 12GB file]) and I had to wait like 2 weeks (Or more) for the to give me an "answer" (Delete the cache and re-download the game)...

I've contacted steam about three times, I've had a problem, and I never got a response.

Get your credit card info ready, call them, email them, post in their forums. You'll get a response in ~ a week or so.

I am a ETW modder - http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=517796- but i can´t make more units ´cause SEGA and Steam are really giving a bad service. I paid the game and i wanna play it and if i have no a right answer i talk about FRAUD and i´ll change my "legal copy games" policy ´cause i have no support by this firms...

You do realize that the vast majority of account thefts are the owners' own fault?

Could be in other cases but not in mine... i never share my games/my serial games with nobody, i only mod and play.

Steam recognize my account was stolen and i can install ETW, but the game is in my pc but i can´t play it!

I can't open these things. Give them to Sega support.

Was there an error message and if so, what was it?

If you can replicate it, can you post a pic of the error message?
