Im having a small issue.
If i hire merc slav bowmen or infantry then they hide out in the open just fine but those i train myself dont.
Seems a bit off that the specalist in ambushing cant ambush?

There's 3 variations of slavic archer in the EDU, this is the mercenary version. Note the attributes

They all seem to have hide_long_grass, rather than hide_anywhere
I'd say all that's happened is you've seen some hide in long grass and assumed it was hide anywhere.
The long grass isn't that easy to distinguish. There are no units in ibfd with hide_anywhere.
In vanilla BI they have the praeventores (roman ninja) with that ability. Maybe you'd like some Slavic ninja?
