    Default Gold Suggestions Thread

    Post your suggestions for Gold edition of TE here. There are several things that i will not do as there not what i want in my mod, and they would make gold edition save game incompatible. So i will not be including an AoR, or loads of new units, you got that with 5.0. Gold will mainly be graphical improvements, balancing tweaks and improvements, and bug fixing.

    Can you try and fix the Darthmod's bug where your soldiers face their backs towards the enemy? Or is that too difficult to do?

    Yeah what he said, given the size of the mm3 map and the increased distance from your capital to some of the more remote citys (ie seleucids) matching the law/happiness bonuses for city walls from BI would help alot. Its something ive already done for myself ever since starting to use the mm3 map even before finding this great mod

    Would it be possible to fix the Ptolemaois faction UI display of the elite stables building? I'm seeing an infantry barracks instead. Maybe lessen size of lakes south of Carthage too, although thats probably a save game issue. I think the militia hoplites should be given armor (to match their picture after all!) and a higher upkeep cost.. perhaps +50 per armor point. Seleucid is producing far to many militia hoplites. I'd look into fine tuning the AI production ratios or telling them to higher more mercs.

    and maybe add some law with recruitment buildings, as in RTR, would be helpfull with metropols against squailor.

    Got to be honest here the city wall law/happiness bonus as per BI are enough to keep most citys happy enough where you dont need a full stack garrison even on vary distant huge citys (6-10 units are normaly enough), even the seleucids who are by far the most spread out faction. That is of course if you keep up with your building and focus on things that give a happiness/law bonus and economy at first.

    For myself i wouldnt like it taken to an extreem where the increase in unit maintenance costs is negated by run away happiness bonuses, where even the most distant huge citys can be held happyly with a general and a few miltitia, leaving you free to have rampaging full stack armys again.

    As i say ive been using the BI city wall law/happiness on the mm3 map for a while now and it seem balance out well enough without even more bonuses. it duznt make everything go away, distant citys still sometimes cause a headache (as they should) if you dont keep ontop of your contruction.

    a new menu was a good idea. i like what you did with the in game GUI that made a good look for 5.0. and i mean the opening menu when you choose campaign or multiplayer.

    Im going to have a go at fixing some of the problems caused by Darths Formations Mod, but im not sure if i will be able to fix any of them, im not very familiar with the formations files.

    And i may give a very small law bonus to walls, i just do not see the need for it.

    I agree with chaplain, need a better video, to be honest, no offense, it was kinda lame. , maybe a better menu instead of the vanilla one. keep up the great job

    AI armies must merge frequently. Divided armies are too easy to defeat.

    Is there a way to reduce the trees in the Barbarian cities? In those were they have build a high level city.
    Can't see much of the city with that. Annoys me a lot.

    Well i can't its a different mod, tohugh Prom has allowed me to use the new grass and flowers he has done for the battle map.

    what about lowering the killing rate of units littile a bit. Battles are so fast in your mod!!

    Changing the Macedonian banner as the lymda is on the shields of the spartans giving the feel that spartans are macedonian souldiers. I suggest the star of Macedon. Like on the coin below.

    Umm... how about the 2 hand phalanx too? I know this is insignificant to the whole game but it'll be nice for a little realism.
