Default Problems with Kingdoms/Third Age: Total War

I've got some problems with install/uninstall/play Medieval 2: kingdoms and the mod Third Age: Total war. I had some other problems with Medieval 2 and Kingdoms before (see my other posts), so I wanted to reinstall both. But somehow I uninstalled kingdoms not well or something. Yesterday I wanted to play Third Age: Total War and therefore I had to install Kingdoms. But when I insert the disk, the launcher said I could play all the Kingdom campaings, but there was also an installbar. When I clicked on any Kingdoms campaign it said that he could not find the file Kingdoms.exe, but when i clicked the installbar he said all of Kingdoms was already installed. Then I manual installed all the campaigns apart and it worked!

I immediatley downloaded and installed Third Age: Total War (first it didn't worked, because of he couldn't find Kingdoms.exe). I played the campaign for a while, but then I went to play a battle. I pressed start and it all shut down. The computer said there was an ''unspecified error''. So I can't play battles, because this happens all the time. I do not know if there some relation between this and my first problems with Kingdoms. Does anyone know how to fix?

You need a clean install, then.

    http://shoguntotalwar.yuku.com/topic...l-II-Total-War should help.
