    Default Kingdoms Blank Error Issue

First off, I have seen and read all the related Medieval total war 2 kingdoms threads and though some of them have mentioned my problem, none of them have addressed a clear solution.

My problem is that when I try to run kingdoms.exe after I have downloaded the game and replaced the exe with a crack, it gets stuck at the medieval total war loading screen (very first screen) then crashes and I receive a blank error that has an exclamation point inside an orange triangle. Also, when i try to run launcher.exe, I receive an error that says

"Failed to delay load library mscorlib.dll (Win32 error: 0).
This program can no longer run and will now terminate."

My ultimate goal is to get Stainless Steel 6.4 mod to work but I believe that it isn't working because I can't run kingdoms. Just fyi, when I run stainless steel 6.4 I receive an error that says,

"The program launcher.exe has encountered a serious problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

I know this can work on my mac because I have done it before but now it just won't work and I don't remember doing anything extremely fancy last time I installed this. Please give a descriptive solution instead of sending me to a new thread.
