Thread: Crashing when I change values in "Battle_models"

    Icon5 Crashing when I change values in "Battle_models"

    I have problems to change the values in the "battle_models" file. I have done this before with Stainless steel and Deus lo Vult.
    For example I would like to add "templar gunners" to HRE, but the game crashes when I execute the game.
    I canīt find any errors in the text below. The bold text is newly added.

    Maybe you should look in the EDU file ? it could be something very simple like you forgot a coma or a space etc. Make sure to check over the EDU entry for it. That happens to me a lot I forget a space or something small like that.

    Also might be a problem that you accidently removed a line in the modelsdb or forget to save it before loading? You gotta keep that file open so that if you run the game and there's a problem, you can always 'step backward' in wte program ur using to access modelsdb.

    I have tried that, but no success. I have tried to change the values with several different units, but the crashes stills stays on. When I turn back to my safety backup all works perfectly (when nothing is changed) .

    I was going to suggest that you read a tutorial about the EDU file, but since you already have experience modding that file it is probably not required. I recommend that you post this question in the Mod Workshop forum for M2TW and someone who works with this file on a regular basis should be able to assist you in finding a solution to your problem.
