King Maeglor I takes his place in the stands to oversee the tournament. His loyal bodyguard, Sir Godwen Thorne would be standing near the King. At a later time, Ser Thorne would join the tourney. Maeglor greets many nobles who came to watch and see the display of individual skill.

Ser Lenford Rosby (+2 Joust), a Kingsguard hopeful, enters the Tourney Grounds. He looks around at his competition and knows this will be a challenging tournament. He hopes to prove himself to the King and the people of Westeros.

Might I register for all 3, good man?

    -----------------

Lord Buliwyf Drumm, of Old Wyk enters the grounds, his Valyrian Steel Sword, Red Rain slung to his back as always, he walks the grounds nodding in greeting to the suspicious onlookers, who know where he hails from... He approaches the Tournament Registrar

I would like to enter all three competitions.

Lord Robb Reyne (+1 Joust, +3 Dueling, participating in Joust & Melee) and his brother Ser Ryman (+1 Jousting, participating in Joust & Melee) enter the lists. Both know that this is an opportunity to resuscitate the glory of House Reyne, tarnished first by their failed rebellion with the Tarbecks against Casterly Rock and then by their father's largely dismal conduct in the War of the Usurper, and both also know the wielder of their house's ancestral Valyrian weapon Red Rain is participating...

Victarion Greyjoy and his hated brother Euron Greyjoy (the only Greyjoy who came to see the king the former out of respect for his enemies and the latter to show up geenlanders) sign up for the three competitions.

OOC: Matchup list posted. I'll add more as more players join, looking to start this tomorrow (tonight if enough players join). You have until the end of the 1st elimination round to join, if nobody is there to fight you I'll set you up with an NPC.

Logan Redwyne and his two sons made ready for all the tourney could offer, they would fight their best and had come to prove themselves against the mainlanders. Also Ser Luven Goldwyne, son of one of the Redwynes bannermen had come to participate. Gotwer Stonecrab Bannerman of the Redwynes was there to participate too.

Beren Bronze Baratheon (+3 Duels, +3 Tourney, participating in Melee) walks towards the pievement. Together with him was his uncle Doran Bronze Baratheon (not participating) and Doran's firstborn, Athel Bronze Baratheon (+2 Duels, +2 Tourney, +2 Archer, participating in Melee and Archery). They were a tall folk, and very noisy as well. They'd laugh with booming voices and not seem to care much to being bothering him or her. With them was also the second son of Gilard Bronze Baratheon, Ullen (+2 Duels, +2 Tourney, participating in Melee).

The Starks come into the area. Benjen Snow and Cordbury Stark sign up for the lists and Eddard takes a seat in the stands close to that of the king.

Melisa arrives at the tournament along with her servant Janos and several sellsword-looking guards. She looks around the tournament with interest, smiling as people stare at her odd dark purple dyed hair. Two of the men attempt to enter the tournament, but a older man stops then. "We're not here to participate. Just observe." The men nod and the group walk away from the signup table to find seats.

OOC : If this is allowed..otherwise just delete.

"Helmet?" "Check." Ser Robb pointed to his armet and lowered the visor over his face.

"Gorget?" "Check." Now he pointed to the heavy metal band around his neck.

"Plates secure?" "Check." The knight gestured at the bands holding his heavy plate armor securely around his form, most of them covered up by the surcoat he was wearing - its front half Reyne argent with the red lion rampant, and the back half pure white and adorned with red seven-pointed stars.

"Plate strong enough?" "Check." Robb banged a fist against his armored chest.

"Codpiece?" Behind his visor, Ser Robb rolled his eyes at his servant. "Check, obviously. Even though I won't need it until the melee. Why would you ask that, anyway?"

The servant laughed. "Just making sure. You're all set, Ser Robb!"

His routine equipment check done, Robb Reyne rode out atop his courser Prayer, the horse's white hair and black skin alike mostly hidden under a red-and-silver Reyne caparison, to face his first opponent. Waving only once to his wife and family, he grabbed a painted red-and-white tourney lance in his right hand, and slipped a white shield adorned with a red seven-pointed star of the Seven onto his left; it couldn't hurt to try to call for divine shielding, after all. In his head, he began praying to the Warrior for success. Warrior, grant me the courage to face my opponent in full, and guide every thrust of my lance...

    (+1 Jousting)

    -------

Ryman Reyne rode out, wearing a pure argent Reyne surcoat emblazoned with their iconic red lion, his visor already pulled over his face to hide his nervousness. He had practiced jousting before, but never actually participated in one like his older brother. Beneath him, his horse Strider whinnied, similarly caught by a case of nerves. He waved to his family and tried to laugh, but his anxiety made him sound like he was wheezing instead, and he was failing to suppress his shaking as he grabbed a lance and shield in Reyne colors.

    (+1 Jousting)

OOC: Alright folks, it's Sunday afternoon. Time to get this show on the road. Be sure to post your character's respective skills (Joust for Jousting (duh), Dueling for Melee, Archery for...Archery). Remember that we are timewarping matches, so yes, we can in fact have six jousts occurring alongside each other for example.

    Robb Reyne VS Euron Greyjoy:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
    Tilt 1

    Robb:
    Roll(1d6)+1:
    4,+1
    Total:5

    Euron:
    Roll(1d6)+0:
    4,+0
    Total:4

Euron falls? (evens he stays in the saddle, odds he falls)
    Roll(1d4)+0:
    4,+0
    Total:4

    ---

    Tilt 2

    Robb:
    Roll(1d6)+1:
    3,+1
    Total:4

    Euron:
    Roll(1d6)+0:
    1,+0
    Total:1

    Euron falls?
    Roll(1d4)+0:
    3,+0
    Total:3

    Euron falls
Robb Reyne dominated this match, already nearly felling Euron Greyjoy on the first tilt and succeeding in unhorsing him on the second. As Euron falls, he hit his head on the barrier with a deafening clang...
    Roll(1d100)+0:
    67,+0
    Total:67
...but would rise just fine, with only a ringing in his ears and a bruised chest (and quite possibly a bruised ego, as well).
    Cordbury Stark VS Lancel Lannister:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
    Tilt 1

    Cordbury:
    Roll(1d6)+4:
    4,+4
    Total:8

    Lancel:
    Roll(1d6)+4:
    2,+4
    Total:6

    Lancel falls?
    Roll(1d4)+4:
    4,+4
    Total:8

    ---

    Tilt 2

    Cordbury:
    Roll(1d6)+4:
    6,+4
    Total:10

    Lancel:
    Roll(1d6)+4:
    1,+4
    Total:5

    Lancel falls?
    Roll(1d4)+4:
    3,+4
    Total:7
Though a more even fight had been expected, Cordbury Stark instead overwhelmed Lancel with ease in both tilts, on the first one nearly sending him flying out of the saddle and on the second throwing him to the ground before the Lannister's lance could even touch him. Lancel hit the ground with a heavy thud...
    Roll(1d100)+0:
    6,+0
    Total:6
...but would be quite alright, save for the hole torn in his surcoat by the Northerner's lance.
