Can't use the preference editor

When I click on the prefence editor on the RS2 launcher a message pops up saying it was unable to open the file, this has only happened on he latest version and worked fine on the previos versions, any idea how I can get it working again ?

Try Reinstalling the patch over your original patch installation.

Yea make fresh copy of the RTW 1.5 folder and just reinstall the mod step by step

I have reinstalled it a few times already but I still get the same problem, everything else works perfectly so its not really a big problem I was just wondering if anyone knew how to get it working again ?

same problem. reinstalled everything. changing preferences doesnt work.

I had the same problem but i found the preferences folder here Rome - Total War\data\_IMPORTANT_STUFF\Preferences. Just remove (x86) if u have windows 32 bit.

Once u have it go to Rome Total war main folder and create a new folder called Preferences then copy the .txt file in their.

The Edit preferences button should now work.
