    Default Historical Roman Empire

Has anyone actually attempted to recreate the historical roman empire (At its fullest extent)? If so, show us,

There's a "Post Your Empires" thread already you know, this thread is utterly pointless.

Finding a specific empire is a pain.

Countless times players love to make historical Roman Empire. But me going through the empires thread page by page will kill me.

    So yea

Its very hard and difficult to create one as I have been told. As fighting alot of borders and factions strains your armies and economy

I always try to recreate it, every time I play as Rome, even approximate dates too

After the 2nd rebellion it gets "kinda" easy because by then all the named/numbered legions are superexperienced and full enemy armies dont have the guts to attack you. When you stop at the rhine/danube frontier it gets even easier with all the forts and bridges.

Only pain is to fight in the east; far away from retraining the legions.(anyway this is where I stopped conquering more lands

Do you want me to mothball the old Empires thread and sticky a new 2.5 and above Empires thread?

well you could also the scytians money so they could push the germans towards and make the Roman Empire fall, but i don't think you want to that or everything you have conquered will be undone

There is now a new post your empire thread. However as OP wanted this to be historical empires, I haven't merged these two.

Perhaps you should try and keep Armenia alive as a vassal.
There was a thread-I think in EB forum, that gave a step by step, year by year (game engine and AI allowing ) instructions on conquering the Augustan empire..might try and replicate it, if find the time

What is that supposed to mean? At that point I nearly had ALL the legions in the field and some entirely auxilliary stacks, sure that would cost money dont you think?
