Default Which god would you follow?

Thought i'd set this poll up after making a similar one on the Call of Warhammer forum.

    Which god would you choose?

Being both a Targaryen and Stannis fan boy its safe to say im a R'hllor man

according to this 'The Others' count as a deity so thats why I included them http://gameofthrones.net/faiths-of-westeros.html

also i cant seem to edit the poll so sorry for my terrible spelling

R'hllor is the best choice because he can turn you back to life and you can see the future in his fires and not to mention the badass shadow's that kill your enemies.

the Old gods do nothing , they haven
't answered to any Stark prayer if you know what i mean

the Seven and the drowned god haven
    't done nothing either

I'm all for R'hllor with his fancy spells and magic and not to mention nice view of the world (The night is dark and full of terrors) but I also have a liking to the weirwood trees and ancient forests and I wasn't that happy with the burning of the godswood in Storm's End.

But maybe I'd go for the others... Eternal life.. giant dead creatures and ice spiders not to mention the fact that everyone is scared of you.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
I'd like to see a face off between Tree-Bran the others and the Red God' minions.

I would be a follower of R'hllor. I have always loved fire, the sun, and the dualism of light and dark. If anything should be worshiped it should be the light for it is the giver of life, literally. Beyond that though, the power of the Red God is real, even if it is disturbing at times. Also, the followers of R'hllor at least seem to be against the Others and are preparing against them with knowledge and magic.

What about the gods of the Dothraki? What about the many Faced God?

I would have to pick the latter.

"I, Pinkie Pie, declare that these treats are fit for a king, or a queen, or a princess!"
"Me? Ruin? I'm not the ruiner, I'm the ruinee! Or is it ruinness? Ruinette?"
"She's ahead of the litter all right. The pick of the litter. The cat's pajamas. Oh wait. Why would Applejack take some poor kitty's pj's? That's not very sporting of her."
"More balloons! No, that's too many balloons. More candy! No, less candy. Ooh! I know! Streamers!"
"Oh my gosh. Hold on to your hooves – I am just about to be brilliant!"

Yes but the Old Gods are also real, their power lies in the weirwood and with the greenseers, skinchangers and anything else along those lines. They are also prepared to fight the Others.
Were there but a tree in this godforsaken place i would have hanged myself.

I know little of gods and care less
"We all know whatmy brother would do. Robert would gallop up to the gates of Winterfell alone, break them with his warhammer, and ride through the rubble to slay Roose Bolton with his left hand and the Bastard with his right. I am not Robert. But we will march, and we will free Winterfell … or die in the attempt."

Seeing how R'hllor's followers can do some cool stuff I would definitely worship him.

R'hllor as "The night is dark and full of terrors".

That and the fact that Melisandre is certainly a step or two up on the septas etc of Westeros in terms of looks.

"Men choose light or men choose darkness."

And I choose light. All glory to the Lord of Light. All these other gods will do nothing. The Old Gods watched with pitiless eyes as Winterfell burned, and they cannot even see so far south as the Twins or King's Landing, where Eddard and Robb Stark lost their heads.

The Drowned God does nothing. His priests have no power, and no miracles have come from the Lord of Seaweed.

The Seven are even more useless. It even seems to me that praying to the Seven ensures that you won't get what you prayed for. Whenever a character in the books prayed to the Seven, I was just like; "Kay, that thing isn't happening."

The Others... Great. You want to worship evil creatures of frost and darkness who will slay you and then raise you into a wight to serve in their shambling, freezing armies? R'hllor will hold back the darkness of Winter through his champions Stannis Baratheon and Melisandre of Asshai.

Mother Rhoyne? Truly? Mentioned in, what, two places in the whole books? Some ancient goddess said to the mother of all? I don't hold with Gaea theories, thanks.

The night is dark and full of terrors.

Oberyn Martell "played with" a Septa at one point. His third bastard girl, Tyene Sand, was his by a Septa. That raises them in my estimation.

Then again they are probably the only ones to have specifically made this a doctrinal offense...
Isn't it enough to see that a fire is bright and beautiful without having to believe that the night is dark and full of terrors too? ~ Douglas Adamsish
