Hold my old laptop or get another?

I recently brought a laptop (Acer Aspire 5750G), now my brother wants to buy one too, as my brother isn't really in laptops, he asked me for my laptop, then I would get 750 euro (I got it for 680 but he wants it anyway)

But is it worth to buy another laptop or should I go on with this one?

Computer specs. :

Intel Core i7-2670QM 2.2 Ghz.
GeForce GT 540M
15.6 HD Led LCD (I try to keep this as much as possible)
500 GB HDD
6-cell Lion Battery

you can get a gt 650m that would be yours into shame, its quite a performance difference. It should be around 40%. I would sell it.
