Sendai Clan Campaigns!

Hey all,

Finally managed to get around to finishing Total War Battles: Shogun and got the Sendai clan DLC code. I've just started a Let's Play Campaign of it on my Youtube Channel, video can be found here:



But anyway I was wondering who else has unlocked the Sendai clan and if so how have your campaigns with them gone? Any tips / pointers for playing as the Sendai that I can use in my LP would be great

Also please don't let this thread turn into a hate on Total War Battles or the decision to add the Sendai code in the game, but keep it focused on sharing your Sendai Campaign experiences if you have any!

It`s still a very thinly veiled advert for total War Battles, the mobile phone game, isn`t it, though? I mean come on admit it. How different can another Faction be to warrant this?

...Nope not an ad for the mobile game, if anything its an ad for FOTS and my youtube channel, for my new campaign. I want to find out other peoples experiences with the Sendai clan as it seems so far no one else has made a LP of it. Many of my subscribers have been waiting since FOTS release to see me do a campaign with the Sendai as have I. Its not an ad for Total War Battles, indirectly I guess you can argue it is because to unlock the Sendai clan you have to complete TWB, but that's not what I'm using this thread for if you feel it is an ad for TWB then by all means think that but its not intended to be lol.

Thanks Well their bonuses are all kinda focused on making it easier to take and hold provinces with repression bonuses and 'tolerance' of difference allegiances so it should make it easier to conquer imperial territories with the Shogunate Sendai. I'm really enjoying it so far, cant wait to see how it progresses

I think its just bonuses but I'll check when I make the next part later for special units, dont think they do have any though.

Pity.. In my opinion, all clans in the FotS should've had special units of their own.

No, the key is unique to each copy of Total War Battles, just like any other faction dlc code.

I think most of us still don't have Sendai to comment on it. Played three long fots campaigns for all three allegiances and felt jaded to the point I got back to playing the main S2. Still, you've aroused my curiosity about Sendai. Keep up the Let's Plays!

No, you have to buy Total War: Battles (a really crappy mobile game) and beat it in order to get a keycode that unlocks the faction in this game.

Did I mention the game is only available on select smartphones?

Its cheaper to buy the clan dlc than to buy tw battles (offcours not in sale). if UpNSmoke had done that, he would have seen he needs FOTS for the sendai clan

Sendai is ridiculous with that silly siegecraft trait The only bugbear i had in my Sendai Campaign was Matsumae taking over all of Hokkaido and then switching allegiance and attacking me from my north flank while i was engaged with a bitter war with Imperial Aizu, Sado and a naval invasion from Tosa. That campaign was intense, attacked from all sides coupled with naval invasions. Took me several years and judicious use of railways to destroy them.

Anyway if you guys really hate TW:Battles that much, Sendai can be purchased from non-steam sources like GMG,GetGamesGo. I gotten my Sendai clan for $1.25 during a sale

Well I haven't seen anywhere with the clan code for sale..hadn't heard of GetGamesGo. And I bought the Battles game just cause..didn't even know it had a DLC code until later on. At amy rate I just bought FOTS for 8 bucks on Steam!..less than 24hrs left on sale
