Need Help for Computer Building

Hey guys,

I'm building 2 computers this summer, and I have a few questions cuz this is my first time building computers. first thing, on newegg i found this . aside from burning CD's, will that thing read them also (so i can just buy that instead of buying another DVD drive)?
Also, can someone create a step-by-step guide on how to put a computer together (maybe sticky it)?? This would help soooooo much. any input would be wholeheartedly appreciated :original: .

btw i read some reviews about that dvd drive and they said that it was missing a jumper drive? duno what that is soo..just to be safe here's my config for both comps

amd 64 4000+
nvidia 7600 GT
epox socket 939 Nforce4 ultra mobo
rosewill 550 W power supply
corsair xms 2 gb RAM
seagate barracuda 7200rpm 120 GB
and the drive that i linked above
Do i need to get a sound card and network card also? or are they built into the mobo

Get a dual core processor, and make it socket AM2, and change the powersupply, Rosewell powersupplies sucks. If you need help picking the parts read the sticky (Click me! . If you are not sure now to put it together, there are plenty of guides on Google.
