    Default Byzantion CTD

This may or may not have been addressed elsewhere (I vaguely remember reading the work Byzantion somewhere but I fail to remember where).
Simply put I captured Byzantion and got a CTD, I reloaded and did it again and got the same CTD. Is this fixable or a problem with my install, or an unavoidable glitch?
Kind of important as Macedonia have it and promptly declared war on me (Pontus) and I'll have to restart the whole campaign if I have to leave a Macedonian huge city slap bang in the middle of my empire.

    Cheers

If it works, this can get you passed the issue. However, it's a well known vanilla glitch and can be indicative of something going awry. Do make sure you have an earlier .sav you could go back to and I'd recommend restarting the PC & Game if this does happen.

Personally, I think this particular form of CTD is normally down to Windows thinking it's protecting itself, or an Anti-virus program trying to do the same.

What was going on at that moment. Did you attack the city directly or did you attack an army in close proximity to the city and the city garrison joined the fight?
