Napoleon running in fits and starts
FRAPS is showing 20fps, the camera is moving around smoothly, yet units are running in 'fits and starts' that is, instead of running across the map, they're sort of stuttering across. This is really annoying and is completely spoiling my enjoyment of the game. As I said, it's showing 20fps in FRAPS which is more than fast enough for smooth, flowing motion, so I don't think it's got anything to do with the graphics settings. It's doing the same thing on the campaign map as well.
I'm pretty sure it wasn't doing this with my old GPU (HD 4850), and other games are running smoothly, so I'm ruling out an issue with the card itself.
Can anyone help? Specs in my sig.
