Id assume not, if youre just playing RTW youre best to go simply with the latest ATI drivers. Its usually new games which get benefit from new drivers, such as when new games use fancy effects, ATI and Nvidia release new drivers better optimised to handle those fancy effects in as efficient a way as possible. Youre not likely to get much benefit from new drivrs in RTW unless youre updating from an extremely old set of drivers

Hmm...I still have the drivers that came with my outdated Radeon 9250 that I bought a year and a half ago, geez those must be old. Think RTW will benefit much from a new set? Last time I tried I had to resort to safe mode then system restore my computer was so messed up.

If you uninstall your driver and clean it with Driver Cleaner (Google it) before you install it, it shouldn't cause any problems. I always keep all my drivers up to date, they can give you free performance and fix a lot of problems.

You could try the Omega drivers for ATI cards - these are supposed to boost performance in games over the ATI official drivers. Also, get the excellent ATI Tray Tools (incl. with Omega drivers) and overclock your card with it.
