I have no leads, it's a piece of violin music that's often played in commercials and in movies too I think, I'm sorry I can't give anymore clues but I don't know myself. It's not Requiem for a dream.

is it the one from Schindler's List?
you're going to have to be a little more specific, mate; what commercial is it on?
I've asked this question many times myself. You kind of have to treat it like identifying a bird or a rock/mineral in science class, lol.
1. Do you have the links to the commercials or movies you've heard it in? If YES, post them, and move on to question #2. If NO, well...not sure how we can help, lol, besides blindly spamming well-known violin pieces 'till you somehow miraculously find it.
2. Are you positive it was actually a violin? Not a Cello? (Not insulting your musical intellect or anything, but you'd be surprised, haha)
If violin...I dunno, start with Vivaldi's Spring? If perhaps Cello check out, Bach's Cello Suite No.1
You hear both these pieces A LOT in movies and commercials
Good luck, sorry if this didn't help. Not much any one can do unless we can hear it.
