    Default more turns per Year

    Hi,

    iīd love to see at least a 4 tpy script as option in the launcher for a more RPG experience - is it possible?

    There was a sub-mod for 4TPY for RS2.1a, but because of all the trait changes in RS2.5, it's out of date. I imagine someone will make one eventually.

    Ohhhh, 4tpy and 1 turn recruitment sounds pretty dang cool . . .

    is that sub-mod good and stable on 2.5 Vader?

    Yes, it is. You can only use it for 2.5, btw.

    Have you taken into account the thresholds for various traits that are based on a certain amount of time? Character aging, Roman Leadership, etc.? Or has the 4TPY part just been added?

    Yes, it was quite a pain to change all of them, especially the hundreds of triggers for the roman leadership system.

    I have also tested whether my changes mess anything up, and couldnīt find anything.

    The only confusing thing I found was that in the roman elections triggers some of the triggers are identical in all but name.

    Have you ever heard of WinMerge? You can download it for free, and it is incredibly useful for ramping over changes when things change a lot. If you don't have it, it will make converting what you've done much easier once this blasted Patch is out.

    Does it unbalance the building histories? Meaning, since you can build things twice as fast, make money and grow pop twice as fast, does it lead to prematurely advanced and large Empires?

    As I have written in bold red letters in the download: Building times arenīt affected. I originally planed on changing them, but I wait for 2.6 to do this. However, having played quite alot with 4tpy now, you still donīt have prematurely advanced or large empires.

    If I ever make a 12tpy script, then only for 2.6. The need isnīt big, but the work is, so I donīt know whether I will actually do it.

    12 turns per year on 1 turn campaign, would better represent recruitment alot.

    Only if movement points, unit recruitment and build times were not changed as well.

    IB:SAI has options for 12 or 4 ture, It's default is 6 turn. Works well for them.

    Yes 12 tpy is the best option with 1 turn, in IB:SAI it is present but the movement is not working well...so with IB:SAI the best option is 6tpy, but I hope julianus will fix the 12tpy because it is the best way to play a camapign in RTW!
