Just asking. It seems that, in general, more heavily armored troops have higher heat fatigue, if you control for factors like local acclimatization to heat. (E.g., sergeant spearmen (unarmored) have 2 heat fatigue, while armored sergeants (lightly mailed) have 4 heat fatigue. However, saracen militia (also lightly mailed) only have one, because they're from hot areas.) As a general rule, a level of armor seems to add 1 heat fatigue. (Armored swordsmen/noble swordsmen also have 1 more heat fatigue than dismounted feudal knights, for instance)
So, if you upgrade sergeant spearmen to have leather armor, do they have 3 heat fatigue? Upgrade them to light mail, they have 4 like their armored sergeant brethren?
On one hand, it would make sense that wearing more armor would cause more heat fatigue. On the other hand, I'd be kind of disappointed if upgrading your troops made them worse in any way.
Anyone know?
