Well..... I will be honest and say that my interest for this mod died a long time ago. Since, I've been trying to hang on for not letting down expectations alone, but thats a rather thin reason when you are an self-centered nutcase of an 'artist' who can't get his **** together.

I haven't made any descisions to quit this thing, though, it's just that thoughts about working on it, right now, make me sick to my stomach. I really want to try and finish at least one thing I've started. But it's always like this, my passion runs out, and I have no self-discipline to speak of. :\

I'll try to sort myself out but don't expect anything because I'm an *******.

Well Prom is rather busy getting Res Gestae out at the moment, I assume this has taken second priority at the moment.

PITTY cause i think this mod had real promise, it wasn't just rtw with a skin change, cause lets face it that is what most the other mods are,along with some stat changes,which in most of the mods i've tried i ddon't like!
How far from completion are you?
Hopefully your,and your team mates optimisim for the mod will renew itself, as RNJ has the ability of being the best mod for RTW imo!

Prom began work for Res Gestae long before this mod ever came up, It was pretty easy to see ahead Res Gestae would need to be put into overdrive as it was at the point that not finishing it would be a crime.

This mod has alot of work as well and I see no reason to believe Prom wont come back to it as he came back to Res Gestae. He has every right to mod as he pleas and if he wants to do his Roman mod so be it.

Remains the fact that Roman mods are inflated; i hope that with M2TW someone will take other eras for his mod...It would be bad another Antiquity mod with the new game. I really can't see more of them. :original:

I have left the mod to the expert hands of Kagemusha and Tomte due to several problems I couln't keep working on this , RG as stated needed an doverdrive , if I will be able to I will be back , but the former two have a lot of work done and so is a matter of refinings now ! Units are done , map is done , textures half done , researches are done , building trees are done ,portraits are done , factions icons where done etc .... half of buildings where already made when I went to boost RG... So a matter of refining and the mod could see the light ...

While some may see the continuation of the project as a waste of time, I'm certain that the biggest waste of time would be to NOT go forward and throw away everything that was already invested into this mod.

I'm begging you people to go on. Not only because of this BI mod, also because I was hoping you would eventually port it to M2TW as well. I may be wrong but I believe this would be far easyer to be achieved if you actually FINISH this one.

Not to mention that I won't be able to play M2TW anytime soon so this is my only hope...

The lack of posts in this forum comes from the long waiting time. I know you people are doing a lot of hard work, but with time the interest is bound to become less apparent. Also a lot of people (me included!) turned from frequent posters to occasional lurkers. I knew I can't help you in any way, the mod was talked over to the last detail, so the waiting begins. And while waiting most people don't have a lot of on-topic to say. I doubt large quantities of spam would make you happy - and it would be against the rules of TWC. That doesn't mean nobody is eagerly waiting, I can guarantee that!!!

Anyway, PLEASE finish the mod.

I was really looking forward to this mod, that's cr*p.

Don't be to hard on yourself Tomte, you had no obligation to finish this mod. I just hope you regain your intrest for this mod soon, because it is easily the best mod on this site.

You blokes are real clever, don't let all the modding that you've done go to waste.

Take a break and hopefully you'll regain your intrest. :original:

Well I know this sucks, but I'm not saying this is over, I'm just saying that activities may stagnate due to lack of interest, I'm still hoping to get a jolt of inspiration to fuel more work for this mod. We all WANT to finish this mod, and I know the other core members have better work ethics than I do.

Im here and there are others also.Like Tomte sayed this is huge project and we all have our personal lives also.Its summer and the team is mostly old geezers(I think the median age is 25).So on summer and vacation times we will not be very productive,but dead...Nope.

Too big job for volunteers.
If this project dies, then all material so far should be put here for download.
And maybe a new team and fresh project starts from those ?
