So Many Decsisions.
Hey everybody I am currently playing as the IMperium JUliani of course since I love Rome. But I also want to play as a second faction but atm I can't seem to figure it out. I want to either be the Franks, Armenians, or Sassanids. I know this is a dumb thing to post about but I just can't figure it out. Help me por favor!

East always had the most interesting factions, it has to be Sassanids or Armenians. Sassanids seem a better choice, if you haven't played persians for a relatively long time.

Well I like the Sassanids but I liek the Franks because they are romanized, allies with Rome so I can fight beside the legions, they have cool units. WIth Persia I have played with them usually. IT's between those two.

If you have played Persians recently. then go for Franks. To maintain your interest up, you have to change cultures regularly (my motto)

Well I actually haven't plaed RTW in a long time and I actually just got SAI about a week or two ago. When I play BI or any mod for it I play as Rome, or the Persians/Franks cause those are my favorite factions and I stick to them cause I like them the best. So either the Persians or Franks, no others.

Yes I have been trying to beat NTW and ETW and Shogun 2 but I like to take my time with them and not beat them super fast so I can cherish and savor the game.
And just tell me people: Franks or Sassanids.

Franks, they are my most played factions in the BI timeframe mods, I always try aviod war with Rome for as long as it is possible and when it come to it finish it as soon as possible by sacking Roman border cities and giving them to other barbarian factions. My aim is to form my Frankish kingdom in historicaly accurate time, it is a lot of funn

Haven't played as Franks but +REP for the highlighted bit, exactly as I playFranks, they are my most played factions in the BI timeframe mods, I always try aviod war with Rome for as long as it is possible and when it come to it finish it as soon as possible by sacking Roman border cities and giving them to other barbarian factions. I know it's a tough choice. I do liek how some of the barbarians are romanized and it makes them cooler I think but I don't know. Persia is a strong centralized united megapower next to Rome. Plus gotta love dem cataphracts. But I just can't seem to find a dealbreaker.

Actually, I have tried Burgundi in 365 4tpy campaign for the first time and I enjoy it a lot, they have amazing units and it is great fun to be able to raid Roman settlements beyond the Danube and Rhine and not being affraid of any punishment raid (I have no borders with the Romans).

The most important thing for the Goths (Ostro & Visigoths) is sacking and destroy Constantinople and the Eastern Empire!A lot of slaves, money, and new territories from which starting the invasion of Anatolia!!!
...and then the gate of the Middele East will be open for you!!

Don't listen to Diocle -Gaul, Italy, Spain that's where you want to live really good farming, olives, grapes etc that's where you Goths want to go .... besides the walls of Konstantinoupolis are protected by the Virgin Mary herself

As a clever Gothic warlord I would ally with Diocle, sack the City of Constantine, raid Greece and Anatolia and than make peace with the Virgine Mary of Constantinople and with their help I would approach to find new homeland for my people somwhere in those feritale plains of Gaul, Italy and Spain. Offcourse sacking of Rome and Ravenna in the middle of the way is a must
