I just got a call from "The Windows Service Centre" about my PC. I laughed, told them not bloody likely and hung up. Oh how I wished I'd strung them along and then left them to hang. Still, they definitely were not expecting someone to laugh at them I suppose.

Just in case folks, it is a scam, they will try to persuade you they are official microsoft support and to install a small utility on your system and for a "small fee" it will remove any viruses from your system. Which of course is poppycock, what it will do is put little viruses in and then remove them to prove it's doing its job if it does anything at all.

lol they did call me, and i did string them along this was about 2 months ago, it was hilarious

"hi i ams from Microsoft we has detected troublesome viruses on your computer we would like to help you take care of problemz! Are you at PC noaw?"

from their lets just say i strung them along insulted their mother girlfriend daughter and a few other things lol wasted 2 hours of their time lol so much fun.

international call at 2 hrs long must have been well worth the abuse he got haha
