Default Is this trustworthy & and should I use it?

    I´m talking about this:

    http://www.unawave.de/windows-7-tipp...r.html?lang=EN

This programm is supposed to enable up to 64GB of RAM, even for 32-bit systems. Does someone know anything further about it, like whether it really functions or not, or whether it results in problems when playing older games?

As it is impossible to have a 32-bit OS recognize more than about 3.2G of RAM the program is fraudulent so stay away cause who knows what it will put on your machine. Just go and get a 64-bit OS if you want the extra RAM.

    Ok. I won´t use it.

However, 64-bit OS is no option for me, because many games I have don´t work with 64-bit.

Indeed, which games. Most have a compatability mode, or you could dual-boot / virtualise your 32-bit OS.

    How would I do that?

KotOR works fine on 64 bit. I think that Max Payne 1 and 2 might not, and a couple of Codemasters games seem to come to mind, but I can't really think of any other than that.

Well it is actually possible with a PAE kernal but Microsoft purposely limits 32 bit to 4 gigs even if you boot Win with PAE option.

Not quite. It's not just an arbitrary number, it's a physical difference. a 32 bit processor can only physically address so much information. The rest of the data it's using is stored in the cache, which requires another clock cycle, if not more, to access. A 64 bit computer can get more done per clock cycle, which includes recognizing more RAM.

It has nothing to with purposely. In a 32-bit system the largest integer number that can be represented is ~4billion (2^32 - 1) therefore you cannot address any memory that is beyond the maximum number.

It's bad if my security software blocks the website.
