The Romans vs Epiros.

So there I was. I saw Phyrros army. I retreated to capua , lt cannae conquered and i raised a legion. I started the battle with Ephyrros , I killed theyr phalanxes and cavalry , and i rage quitted when I saw my whole legion smashed by elephants. There are far too strong. I tried to take down the elephants with cavalry,spearmen,velites and nothing worked wny are they so strong?

You have to move your troops from the north down and split between the two lower cities-if Pyrrhus attacks one,you can reinforce the other. He archers,that is the main problem,so you need to rally forth if attacked and trick the elephants to get close to use the velites and pilum on them. It is the only way I could defeat them early on.
