Top Ranking Russian Officer Warns of Pre-Emptive Strike if US Led Missile Defence Continues

Russia’s top military officer has threatened a pre-emptive strike on US-led NATO missile defense facilities in Eastern Europe, if Washington goes ahead with its missile defense plan.
Chief of General Staff Nikolai Makarov, gave the warning at the start of an international conference on missile defense in Moscow. Russia also said talks between Moscow and Washington on the US-led NATO plan in Europe were deadlocked.
It dismissed Washington’s claim that the missile defence system is designed solely to deal with a missile threat from Iran, fearing it will undermine Russia’s nuclear deterrent.
Moscow has also offered to jointly run the missile shield with NATO. Though NATO has said it wants to cooperate with Russia, the alliance has rejected Moscow’s proposal.
The conference is the last major Russia-US meeting about military issues, before a NATO summit in Chicago later this month. Moscow has long opposed the deployment of the US-led NATO missile defense facilities near its borders. It has demanded legally binding guarantees from the US and NATO that the missile defense shield does not target Russia.

so it seems the negotiations are deadlocked, and the race of deadly killers known as Russians are making it very clear that they're not happy about the encroaching ABM shield 'to protect against iranian missiles'. They do not like the insinuation that cold hard killers like Russians are incapable of killing iranian missiles, and are even less happy at the prospect of NATO missiles being able to shoot down Russian ICBMs; in fact, they would be more than happy killing cowardly soft NATO soldiers and raping the corpses afterwards and drinking their blood for sustenance. I even heard Putin swearing he would use General McChrystal's skull as a drinking cup if the talks didn't break from deadlock, whilst in the same breath, saying how much he hopes US-Russian relations would improve 'on equal terms'.

The issue here is that there is no country the missile defense could be against save Russia as far as their government is concerned,and proceeding to install said facilities only looks to them like preperations for a possoble Nato attack on the Russian state

Don't worry, it is part of Obama genius RESET strategy of negotiation with Russia

In all seriousness, before the ''You just hate Obama!!!'', lets just make it clear that this Russian position did not come out of thin air but is in part driven by their perceived weakness of the American negotiation. So they are doubling their bet and hoping that the Americans will fold.
