    Default Greek Hoplites Helmet

This mod is the best one I've seen for RTW, but there's ONE thing that could make it better. Just... one.

While I'm sure that the helmets you've given the greek hoplite units are accurate, it would be much more aesthetically pleasing (and maybe not too inaccurate) to give them Corinthian helmets, like these guys:

The last one is the best example.

Sorry for the complaint, and thanks for a great mod!

So...You're willing to sacrifice historical accuracy for coolness?

I think there is a submod for that. you can always try Hegemonia or Sparta Total War with RS2 environments. Plenty of corinthian helmets there
    Here you go ...submod link.

Yep. Historic, won't be changed, sorry, as Sertorio says, try a submod. Seriously, you've got all the environments, all the different factions, extra formations, swap factions, 0 and 1 turn, etc ad nauseum, and really you think it needs unhistorical Corinthian helmets because they looked cool in 300?

Mod one of the old Spartan units or mercs to have Corinthian helmets.

The man has a point. Corinthian >>> all

Im all for historical and stuff but when it comes down to helmets. Nothing can mess with my corinthian .
And not because of 300. The helmets looked like something from the stone age in that movie.

Well guess what. We did leave a few. One for the "General" of the Spartan army, another type for his captain, and another type for the medic. But in truth, even in Sparta's glory from the past. The "Corinthian helm", wasn't common. #1 it was too expensive, #2 not available to the common solder. And # 3 was only for some of the Generals guard. If you search the net, there are some good sites on this and books from Osprey. Usely the warrors would grab what ever they could get their hands on. See our Spartan thread for more detail. http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=142035

Very well then... It seems that this was an unpopular idea. HOWEVER, I never meant to say that 300 looked good or was good in any way, because that movie was a disgrace to ancient Greeks and Persians alike.

As for using other mods with RSII environment: It's a good idea, but I'd like to stick with RSII because of the depth and realism.

    Thanks all for feedback.

    yes.

[edit] Oh and sorry OP, I shouldn't have made a snide remark about 300 as you never said anything about that in the first place. Sorry about that.
