Unable to uninstall Teutonic Kingdoms Campaign

Alright lads,

I've been viewing these forums for years now, but never bothered to register to them, I've played the Roma Surrectum mods for RTW and thats it I'm afraid, but the reason I am posting is as the title suggests I can't uninstall the Teutonic campaign, I have tried to use HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE as well as manually searching for the uninstaller, and also using a menagerie of programs to try and find it to uninstall e.g. CCleaner.

When I run my Kingdoms disc it says I can play Teutonic or Install the other 3 Kingdoms campaigns, If I try to play it, it just says Kingdoms.exe could not be located, so you can begin to understand my pickle.

Any help would be aprreciated.

Edit: The reason why all of this cufuffle is I want to try the Westeros Total War alpha, and eventually beta and 1.0

I used CCleaners uninstall Tool, I removed all 4 of the campaigns without hitch and then medieval 2 itself, though britannia and teutonic despite being uninstalled wouldnt leave the installed programs list, i removed the entries, and Britannia isnt a problem, and for the manual uninstall i simply went into the folder and used the uninstall option, but that came up with an error message, so i deleted all the files :/

Well unfortunately you probably should have used the uninstall option first. The reason you got the error probably is that you removed something that the Uninstaller needs to verify before continuing. You'll have to remove the Registry keys still left over from that aborted install. Here's a link to the instructions.

Now on another point - I'm not sure that installing the Documents folder will work for this old game. It might depend on what version OS you're running on. It might work for XP but anything newer may be screwed by the UAC. I can't say for certain though. If you need two installations put one in the Programs Files(x86) and the other in the generic Program Files folder. Good luck!

Like I said mate I've already been through the Registry Editor, there are no keys there for Kingdoms.

Let's see if I can help, since I just yesterday did a complete clean install of M2TW Gold and all the mods I had installed. Click Start, click all programs, go to Sega, Medieval 2 Total War, Medieval 2 Total War Teutonic, and finally click Uninstall Medieval 2 Total War Teutonic.

There was no SEGA relating to Kingdoms, only for M2TW, but I'd like to happily announce I just fixed it, annoyingly with Revo Uninstaller! So if all else fails, its advanced uninstall option pulled up a load of nonsense which I then deleted and Voila.

Hey Guys.

I currently have the same problem, but in my case the Americas Campaign is left over (In the same way that Arkangel described). First I had a PC crash while installing the game. I then wanted to uninstall it which worked, except for the Americas Campaign. I then ran the CC-cleaner - didn't help! The next step -removing everything manually as described in your link irishron - didn't work as well. When I try to reinstall M2TW Gold it still shows the "start Americas Campaign" button clickable. When I simply continue and follow the "install" button the checklist with all the Kingdoms content doesn't contain "americas Campaign".

I even downloaded Revo Uninstaller but I have no idea how to use it

Thanks for your reply, but as expected it didn't work. The Americas Campaign is still not shown in the checklist when installing. I guess I need advice how to remove the remainings of it from my hard drive. As I said, I've already followed any advice given before and it still won't work :/

All else fails, use regedit but be very careful.

I have done it for other programs that decided to be a pain in the ass.
