Default triggers for hasty and conceited

    Hi!

First of let me say what a gread mod this is. i recently got back to RTW and this is one of the best mods. i am playing the new 2.5 beta, and most of my members have traits like hasty and conceited. does anyone know how the family members get this traits and what are the triggers for them?

There is an answer about traits in the FAQ, http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=535111 which explains a little about this. Under Everything else.

yes i have read it and also search the forums prior to starting a thread. All i found was info about traits in general. i am asking specifically for the 2 traits hasty and conceited which i cant seem to find anywhere in this forum.

    Anyone has a clue?

Not sure why you are concerned about them. The assignment of 'Personality' traits, which these two are, is totally random, and there is a very low chance they will even be assigned......but on occasion you just have a string of bad luck when it comes to what your characters get. Most of these 'personality' traits tend to even out anyway, so only the rare character is 'all' bad.

i am trying to avoid the bad traits...

i check the files and there is like 5% random chance end of every turn? over a 20turn or 40turn period, isnt it quite certain the character will have some of these bad traits sooner or later?

No, not necessarily. If you look at the triggers, they exclude other traits that one could consider 'bad'. But in reality, doesn't everyone have bad traits of some kind? That's basically the idea...characters who are more realistic and have good points as well as bad. A person may be 'intelligent', but 'conceited'. He may be 'considerate', but also a 'procrastinator'. He may be Hot headed, and hardworking.....etc. etc.

    alright. thanks for the reply.

also i think maybe some of the counter traits arent working? for example i have a member having the "respects his father" and i think "hate father" trait together. i forgot the exact trait, but its the exact opposite of respects his father trait.

If so, you would think of the situation that a son respect his father but hate to follow his way! So recruiting him and make him go his own way.

Could you look that up in detail? It sounds like a bug to me.
