Markus Notch Persson for next TW game?

According to Euro gamer, CA are courting Notch for the next TW. Sounds great if they can get him. That would mean the next TW would be alike a 3d CIV game ?? I suspect?

They've got my vote if they want to go in a CIV direction, it is a very popular game.

Civ IV is a great game. CiV is a total disaster (maybe the Gods & Kings expansion pack can make it a little better).

So, Total War following civilization footsteps? Oh god, no.

But, I dont have nothing against Markus Notch. If his coming means more micromanagent, I would be very happy about.

I doubt that highly, he has produced a game that way out sells TW and CA wants him for Mocap ??? Either that's the biggest insult in gaming history OR we're being feed porkies! I'd say he'll assist will strategic game changes OR more likely, multiplayer changes. One huge world - Ancient med, each player a senator or king .. and you drop lava on team-mates below! .. HAHAHA!!

Wouldn't be surprising. Every time Notch says something he gets a bunch of news-feeds.
Doesn't bother me either way. As long as I get my TF2 pre-order item.
