    Default Modding own music

    Hi guys.

First of all, I love the mod, and the music. Unfortunately I'm having a few problems adding music. I added the music to the data/sounds/music folder, edited the .txt file and deleted events.dat. The problem is, it doesn't regenerate a new one, so my modding fails. How can I make the game to create a new, updated events.dat? Or am I doing something else wrong?
    Thanks in advance!

You need to leave events.dat deleted......because you can't add music if it's there. RTW will always default to that file if it is present.
So add your music, but make sure that file is gone. Also, make sure the path to your new music is correct.

Do I have to edit the text file in 'play Romans/ data' or just in data? I think my mistake might be there..

If you are adding music for any particular faction, add the new files to the text file in that faction's folder.
Then add the music to the normal place in the main data folder under 'sounds'.

If there's no file in one of the campaign folders you juts need to edit the base one.
